Kate Killick (born 21 October 1984) is an Irish biologist, and co-author of "Genome-wide transcriptional profiling of peripheral blood leukocytes from cattle infected with Mycobacterium bovis reveals suppression of host immune genes".

Education[edit]

Killick received a BA with honours from Trinity College Dublin in Neuroscience, and went on to complete a Ph.D. from University College Dublin in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology.[1]

  • "Receptor‐mediated recognition of mycobacterial pathogens": This work discusses current ideas on receptor‐mediated recognition of mycobacterial pathogens by macrophages and dendritic cells.[2] This work was co-authored with Clíona Ní Cheallaigh, Cliona O'Farrelly, Karsten Hokamp, David E. MacHugh, and James Harris.
